This benchmark tests the hosted OptimizeYourImage Image API only. It does not benchmark the private in-browser optimizer, background remover, or text-behind-object editor.

Why we publish this
Performance claims should be verifiable
A single hand-picked image doesn't tell you much about an image optimizer. We run the same production API against a fixed public dataset and publish both the aggregate numbers and individual results.
